Gosh. I can't believe it that I open my blog for the first time this year. Lol
Hi Ace (tbh, I already forgot that I even give a name to my laptop)
Day/Date: Friday / 29th July 2016 / Sem 3
Venue: Room 1.10
right now, my master's journey is almost reaching towards the end. currently, i am on my writings, where i have to prepare a research paper and an article to be published formally. left with only a month from now, and i am actually quite worried about it. lol. because i haven't met my supervisor yet. dear readers (do i even have a reader?lol), please pray for me so that i can finish it within the specified period.
okay let me tell you in brief what had happened. so on my final semester, i took three subjects: islamic capital market (icm), risk management in islamic financial institutions and ethics & corporate governance. i love all of these subjects. lol.
for icm, i still remember that my lecturer praised my group presentation. you know what made it special? hahahaha. because it was dr aznan!
for risk management. because i got an A for that alhamdulillah, when most of my senior said it is the toughest subject. i was even being told to skip it and never ever think of taking that subject. haha. it's not as tough as i imagined. u just have to do well in the assignment given by pak mus. that's all. for the exam paper, it is more into ur logics, understanding and focus of what is being taught (and said by pak mus) during the class.
for ethics. i had to repeat the group presentation as we didn't do well during the first time. that was a sweet memory for me because i could really feel that pak mus (again it's him) wanted us to do better and he even gave comments on our presentation individually. what is the right way, how to prepare the slides and etc
okay then.
good night :)
p/s: oh yeah i forgot to mention about the interview session. hint: inceif. gonna post it later!

the journey so far
hi.. hi.. hi bloggie!
long time no see. it seems like we met only once or twice a year. lol
place: iium library - leisure reading area
day/date: monday/ 17.8.2015
dress: maroon blouse with jeans and flowery skin colour hijab
i am writing this post by using the newly-bought (9th August) Acer black laptop. bye-bye to my Toshi. he's been serving me for almost 3 years. he's really sick right now. slow motion in everything. imagine when i try to open it, i have to be very patient as the opening 'scene' takes more than 20 minutes where in between that time, you could boil the water more than two times.
this new laptop, i has given him a name already. it is Ace! do u know who is Ace? Ace is Luffy's brother in the manga of "Budak Getah". i hope with the name of ace, he will help me in turning me into an "Ace" student in my institute.
now..now..now!
the journey that i've walked so far - Being one of the student, in the number 1 ranking of the world for Islamic Banking and Finance subject! isn't that an awesome, fascinating, and amazing fact? lol. trust me lots of thing has changed since my first sem till now. (now is semester break, entering to my third sem). the most obvious thing is the changing of the place. before this, the institute was located at Damansara surrounded by trees, monkeys, the not-at-all-friendly transportation services except having a mini bus provided by the university. honestly, i enjoyed the journey going back and forth of Gombak-Damansara.
just few months ago, the university gives 'some relocation order' to us to move to Gombak campus. poor gsm as it needs to move out to another location. we had conquered their building (actually i am sorry for them as i heard that they raise their own fund to build the place).
during my first semester, i would say that i was the loneliest person on earth as 3 out of 4 classes i took (4 pre-requisites subjects), i was the only student in that class. i had no friends except in the one and only class where i had few classmates. my classmates were quite interesting though as they come from places like thailand, korea, burma, russia and of course malaysia.
the experience of being the only student was priceless. first, u get all the attention, tho on the other hand u had to pay full attention! i mean seriously u cannot let your eyes move around as the only person u gotta look at is the teacher/lecturer. no peeping at ur phone. no doodling at ur paper n no friends to make 'lazy, sleepy' eye contact with. second point, where i was quite happy with this thing - u can set ur own schedule! as u r the only student exist in the class, the lecturers have no choice but to ask u if it is possible to conduct classes on this day or that day. see! its good right. the bad side is no class skipping. haha.
i think that's all for today.
till we meet again.

i i boyfriend aka iibf
Meet u again lucky!
August 28th, 2014 - the registration date for my Master programme. i am now an official student of IIUM. i'm taking Master in Islamic Banking and Finance. before the registration, i was actually pretty much blurred about it. from A to Z. so what i did was reading n gathering informations from its website. u can trust the website.
from reading the admission booklet that has about 20pages to the browsing and clicking every things that can be clicked. :) i just read, re-read, read again n again! why i said u can rely on the website? because i didn't need to do phone call. calls are made when we want to be sure of something.
till then. i might want to share the pics of iibf later. the place seems spoky. not seem. the place IS spoky!

memory that I still remember (1)
two years ago, around this month at the event of Pesta Buku Antarabangsa 2012. Held in PWTC KL. my father had to attend book launching and i joined it with my mother.
after the event, the organiser prepared some food. i remembered that i ate with my mother at the same table in quite an enermous restaurant. buffet-styled. the restaurant was very luxurious, when i entered my first step i was like 'wow!'
i bought Sophie Kinsella's book titled I've Got Your Number

After the Death of My Mum
I quoted from someone:
which one is more beautiful?
the moon or your mum?
"when I look at the moon, I remember my mum
but when I look at my mum, I forget about the moon"
two years has passed.
though i still remember the smile she smiled.
the voice and the words when she called my name.
the sofa she used to seat and nap.
the way she walked from the back.
her hands when she stroked my hair
yet these things seem to vanish from my memory day by day:
1. her cooking.
you know how mummies' hand had this special ability to turn the taste of something simple into extravagant. even the simplest dish they make taste so different.
2. her smell.
in Islamic teaching, all those dead people live in a place called 'Alam Barzakh'.
the way how i can communicate with my mum is through prayers or DUA'
...................................................
(i just don't know what to write anymore)
by the way, tomorrow is my birthday.
p/s: i miss someone who comes from another star

Egypt Part1
Salam and Eid Mubarak!
Today is the 4th Day of Syawal.
And fyi, the celebration of Eid in Malaysia take the whole month!
how merry the Eid Celebration in Malaysia is :)
I'm uploading some of the pictures during my internship in Egypt. Though this pics are not about the internship training itself. More to the 'chill-out' moments.
This is what Masr looks like when I first stepped out of the airport. It was in winter so it's quite cold. Because Sofiah and I were very excited, we didn't wear any coat to let the breeze absorbed to our skins. How childish!
Me in front of Masjid Imam Asy-Syafie. The symbol above the Dome is actually a sampan or canoe which represent how wide the knowledge he gathered through travelling (i made this up.hehe) If you happen to read about Imam Syafie's history, you'll know that he traveled quite a few times in his journey of seeking Al-'Ilm.
This was the first Egypt's food I ate. To'miyyah! It was so delicious and of course just need a few cents to buy it. It was crunchy mashed eggs added with tomatoes and carrots. (and some of the ingredients I'm not sure what it is)
"Abbasiah Cairo Malaysia Hall"
The place I stayed for four months at the forth floor (it's actually the fifth! and the highest WITHOUT elevator. no wonder I lose some weight.haha)
The view captured from my room slightly after the dawn. It is so peaceful and serene with the sound of bird chirping! :)
Me and Sofiah tried to do something extraordinary after the Subuh prayer to avoid us from sleeping. Jogging (read as brisk walking) at 5am. This last only a day as the Adhaan for Subuh started to crawl earlier. The last time before I went back to Malaysia, it was 3.30am!
This is how Talaqqi classes in Masjid Al-Azhar look like. All the classes at Masjid Al-Azhar were actually recorded by AzharTV production. You can check it out at their Youtube channel.
Some of my friends at the Talaqqi Classes under Shaikh Amru El-Wirdany.
This was during my visit to Alexandria. Alexandria is very much different to Cairo as the place is very..very..very beautiful and clean! The air is fresh and the breeze from the sea is so pleasant. Riding a bike in Cairo is considered 'Aib or disgraceful for women however it is okay to ride it here.
See how clear the sea is!
It's like I was sitting inside the aquarium in Aquaria KLCC :)
Sub7anallah and Ma shaa Allah!
p/s: I remembered that after my visit to Alex, my skin started to become red (sunburn) and very dry. And the worst of all, I had a puffy face.
and the next day.....
I'm gonna end it here. Till then! Thanks for anyone who read this. You're cool! ;)

Pretty little stories
Salam.
looking back at the date of my last post, the date was 2 days before my mother died. Allah yar7amuha. how time flies by. may Allah bless my mother n my father always wherever they are. it take me almost 10 month to open the blog back and write something here. a lot has happened to me after that. how the plan of Allah makes me be a better person and always impressed me!
in short, a month after my mother died, i got a chance to go to Indonesia, which was organised by my food science class in year 3. i went to three places there with a lot of experience i gathered. Yogyakarta-Bandung-Jakarta.
next. with regards to my 7th semester's result. well, i performed quite well. elhamdulillah got a dean's list award :)
and now. the biggest story of all! i am doing my internship at Dar Al-Ifta, Cairo. this is really really a gift from Allah which i cannot expressed literally. the internship takes about 4 month. at the time i write this entry, the days remain before i go back to malaysia is 3 days only. hehe. seriously i am planning to write a full post about what happen in here. all the people i get a chance to meet are really a blessed from Allah. there's always reason in this world for something to happen. elhamdulillah.
till then. in shaa Allah. i'll write it when the mood comes (as usual).
